Pee Wee Desktops!

Happy Thanksgiving weekend to all the turkeys who survived the slaughter over the last few weeks! Turkey, you are the one who has the most to be thankful for. I shed a tear for all your lost relatives. May a deserving American family appreciate your delicious carcass!

*sniff*

Now that that is taken care of, here are some FREE wallpapers! Sweet!

Elves Gone Wild!

Elves Gone Wild! This is an animation that will probably go live next week. Here's a sneek peek of the production. Enjoy!
Some concept sketches of the characters by JoeZee. We decided to go with the middle elf because the elf on the left looked too young. Santa's fat. JoeZee sketched these in .4 seconds.

The final version of the Elf. He's happy.

Here's Cabana Boy's sketch of the main Background. We asked him to do a generic large long background so that we can use it for many shots. We're lazy.

All fancy, illustrated...and blurry. We blur backgrounds sometimes so that our characters "pop" more in the scene. Its a good little trick if you don't have time for palettes and stuff.

Santa's gonna dance topless in this one. Eepp! Shaggy's genius animation's gonna gross you guys out. See how Santa really stands out, go blurry BG!

Mrs. Clause gets a surprise. Oh those mischievous elves!

Rudolph's gonna kick some ass.

Beartoes has magical hairy Photoshop powers. Beartoes really has an eye for colors and layout. As with all our recent games, and quizzes, beartoes makes some serious eye candy. Too bad he smells like a wet dog and dirt.

Another Background Concept

We've been working on creating a background style for an animaiton we are going to begin but havn't been having much luck. Most the artists have been taking a crack at it so far, but we havnt found a style that fits. The problem has been that we've been adding too much detail and trying to come up with something interesting and unique. Normally that would be awesome, but we have some stylized characters, and we dont want to distract the viewer with some busy backgrounds.

This background uses the same line quality and keeps the detail fairly low. We experimented with different colors but, the Boss wants a "Simpsons" look, so we are going with the bright pastel colors.

Later Ill post some of the finished background concepts.

This is another video of me illustrating it! Snapz Pro is a sweet program :) I'm sure Ill continue to bore you with vids like this! Maybe one day I'll add the video thats not sped up. Exciting! A full three and a half hours of slow paced illustrating fun!
