The New LiquidGeneration Spokesperson

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have a very special announcement for you folks who love what we're doing here at LG. If you're a long time fan of LiquidGeneration you might already know a few of the people who have brought you the funny over the years. There's me, Slippy Jenkins. Monkey does a little here and there. Our beloved pre-operative transsexual Helga Mohammed el-Salami is a wonderful Chief Technology Officer that loves to berate people with his writings. There's Elmo (who has recently left us!) and an amazing group of peeps who work behind the scenes, many of whom can be found hanging out on the LG Art Blog.

But something has been missing lately. We need a new person to be the face of LiquidGeneration, a mascot so to speak for all the cool things we make every week. This person will be your guide and welcoming committee for everything in our little corner of the internet. In fact, we're even going to change our logo to be a mirror image of this person.

Everybody, please welcome Corey Worthington to the LiquidGeneration family (photo above). Corey hails from Melbourne, Australia. He's best known for throwing a party that went horribly out of control and destroyed a peaceful neighborhood. Watch the video. He also wears cool, famous sunglasses, which I will be picking up as soon as I'm done writing this blog post. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, check out this video. Like now.

This is great news for LiquidGeneration. Corey is a great, funny and totally awesome. He'll be a great spokesman for our website. Why? Let's break it down.

Corey Worthington has:

*Nipple Rings

*Famous yellow sunglasses that he won't take off

*a hat that looks like somebody spilled a box of Trix Cereal all over it! Nice!

Corey Worthington doesn't:

*respect authority. Which is great! We don't respect celebrities!

*speak in an American accent!

These are all the thing's we've been looking for in a new LG spokesperson, especially the nipple rings and famous yellow sunglasses thing. Those are hard to pull off effectively.

Let me just say that I'm very excited about this new venture we're embarking on, and I hope you'll welcome Corey with the same warmth and trust that you've given to the rest of us here at LG over the years.

Corey is currently preparing to come to the US right now. Provided he clears customs, he should arrive on the job within the week.

Awesometown.
