Imus Sex Tape

His racist remarks got him booted from radio, but there's still a home for Imus in the world of porno.  Nappy Headed Ho's is a new adult DVD being released by Kick Ass Pictures, which will feature "girls with closely twisted or curled hair (the dictionary definition of 'nappy'), who have sex for money (the dictionary definition of 'ho')."  Though not officially sanctioned by Imus, a portion of sales will go to a retirement fund for the ex-radio host.  Here's the cover:

I applaud Kick Ass Pictures for this.  Not because they claim this release has something to do with free speech, which is absolutely ridiculous, but because pornos don't riff on pop culture enough anymore.  In the 80's, every porno was a parody of a popular movie, like Top Bum or Indiana Boner and the Temple of Splooge.  Nowadays pornos are just named for their content, like Ass Patrol 5 and Doggy-Style: The Pornographic Movie.  It was interesting to watch bad actors stumble through poorly written take-offs of blockbuster films before getting down and dirty.  Pornos have gotten lazier -- they're generally just a sleazy guy talking to a girl off-screen, and there's usually a party bus of some kind... Oh, why isn't there a Spider-Slam 3: Shootin' Black Ooze on shelves? 

*SIGH*  Porno ain't what it used to be.
