Escape and Evade Game

Howdie Doodie everyone!

We've been really busy with client work lately so we haven't been making too many toons on the main site, but some of this stuff you guys will eventually see. Here's one of the six games we're making, its called Escape and Evade. Its an awesome Puzzle game where you have to make your way across a room without getting caught by the spot lights. You make your way by hiding and ducking in shaded areas. It's so much fun I'm sure you guys will like it. We're also making a shooting range game, a racing game, a flying game, a platform game and a throwing game. Busy Bee's we have been, but we are almost done, so hang in there!
In the mean time, go vote for your favorite candidate! :P Hairy BearToes is voting for Sasquatch for President, Shaggy is voting for a moldy sandwich for President, and I'm voting for Professor Plum for President.

Sex Position or Yoga Position

Hairy Bear Toes is working on a wonderful game called, "Sex or Yoga". In this game we show you a pic of a beautiful lady posing in a position and you have to choose weather it's a sex position or a yoga position. Hopefully after playing this game you will be able to determine if your girlfriend is in the mood and giving you subtle hints, or if she is just stretching and working on inner peace. This game could save you from some awkward moments!

Damn! its been too long!

Things here for the LG art team have been fairly busy since we began production on this pilot. The only problem is, a few weeks ago we got 10 lashings for posting about it. Lashings suck! So we haven't had much to post since the pilot is consuming all our waking hours. However, we do have our good man Hairy Bear Toes hooking you up with some shweet games and quizzes. Unfortunately, this is a bit late because this piece will be launching in a couple hours, but any way, here are some images of the artwork he created...




The games objective is to figure out which celebrity was brutally hacked up to pieces. Don't worry though, no celebrities were harmed during the making of this game, just adorable defenseless puppies. (Nothing channels Hairy's creative juices like a good ol' puppy drowning)

You might be wondering how Hairy creates such wonderfully gory images of dead celebrities. Well I asked him and he let me in on his secret! "I use the 'gag and murder' filter in Photoshop. Its great 'cause it lets you specify the tool (knife, gun, anvil, etc...) and degree of blood in the murder. It also has a feature to simulate how long the body has been dead for, which basically combines Photoshop's 'rot skin' filter."

So i guess, he's not as talented as I thought. hope you enjoy the game!

Party Foul Game Layout

So this week we have all been either creating new games or making new version of old ones. I've been working on this Party Foul game. Basically the way it works is you hear an audio clip, then you have to guess which movie it came from. After you guess you get to see the movie clip that goes along with the audio (similar to who farted)

Here are some scribbles i made while coming up with the idea...



And here is a rough idea of what its kinda gonna look like when its done...
The shatter was done in Maya using its cool physics feature. It takes a lot of tweaking to do pretty much anything in Maya (especially since my knowledge is limited) but its fun and looks cool :) The pic of my bearded dragon Maldune is where the Video will go.

If you're importing an image sequence into Flash, there is no way to lay the images out on the time line on a single layer easily. Flash allows you to distribute the images to layers, but after that you have to pull each one onto a single layer separately. Anyway, I found an awesome flash extension on Adobe's exchange page to fix this :) click here to check it out!

Tag Line Trivia!

Hey guys! Here's a sneek peek of a new game called "Tag Line Trivia". NattyRed had the honor of designing this one (Usually its Bear-Toes who creates these games, but this time he was too busy shaving his hairy feet). She used Illustrator and Photoshop to create this master-piece.

Potty Mouth Ninja Game Characters

These are the main characters in the upcoming game, "Potty Mouth Ninja, Enter the Pirate". They were created in Illustrator, and a pinch of Flash magic.

Here is a test of the background art from Potty Mouth Ninja. The water, bridges, rocks and bushes have been made to tile. Lets just hope our programmers have the time to put it all in :)

The art was all done is Corel Painter with some Photoshop tweaks.
