Pigeon John doesn’t play any “acoustic” business, but he still came up to our studios and rocked some live hip-hop with his DJ. It’s the kind of stuff that will get your head nodding and your brain smiling…I mean if a brain can smile that is.

Goldenboy have been creating quite a name for themselves in the SoCal area. That’s Southern California for all you people not “in the know.” Their latest record, Underneath The Radio, is out now on Eenie Meenie and hopefully they’ll be in your town soon. Enjoy!

The Finalist dropped by the studio very early in the morning to play a song for us. Musicians don’t like mornings, so that goes to show you the dedication of these lads. Keep an eye open for the floating mic…it’s awesome.

José González came by the LG studio and played some songs for us, and he even brought his own microphone! This is a real acoustic performance.

After he played us three of our favorite songs, José González took the time to chat with LG about getting back into the studio and finally going home after touring for what seems like a decade!
