In honor of the upcoming Oscars we bring you Sally Fields's infamous acceptance speech from 1985. Thanks to Rich Juzwiak for putting together this compilation of all the parodies it inspired (including the one where Fields parodies herself which is where the exact oft-quoted line actually came from).

Diz-zamn South Korea sure does like their Gangnam style! We read there were an estimated 80,000 people there- maybe we should tell people that's what's really going on next time the president speaks. Really, once you get to, say, the thousandth row what is the point? It's like sitting in your living room watching it on tv (if you're lucky enough to have a clear view of the monitor), only you're pressed up against a bunch of sweaty, screaming, gyrating strangers... all this for a pop song.

We know everyone's sick of these "Call Me Maybe" parodies, but this one take the cake...ha. "You took your time with the bite/ me trying to be polite/ me start to really freak out/ somebody call the Girl Scouts!"

These are our leaders [insert sad face], and, as you can see, it's not just an isolated incident. Like the song says, with leaders (peace keepers?) like this no wonder sometimes it feels like... "We're on the Road to Nowhere". On the upside though, it's fun to watch people beat the sh*t out of each other! Enjoy! In order of appearance: Czech Republic, Iraq, Japan, Suriname, S. This song version is kind of genius. That the guy made a video too just makes it extra cool.

We're kinda suckers for these type of song recreations, but this one is truly done quite masterfully. Dig the interwoven dance scenes. It's one case where being Rick Rolled is definitely a good thing!

Where to even start with this one...? Some background: This is how someone at the Norwegian [Software] Developers Conference decided to celebrate the release of a series of updates to Microsoft's Windows Azure cloud computing platform. The totally "out there", vulgar, and mildly offensive routine preceded Microsoft's official presentation and, needless to say, the folks at Micrsoft are not too happy. Watch and listen closely to catch such gems as "The words 'micro' and 'soft' don't apply to my penis (or vagina)" and "coding is my drug"... Tell me, who said computer developers don't have a sense of humor (or rhythm)? Much to the contrary, seems like these guys look for any excuse to party! Wonder if this song will make it to the Itunes top 10...?
