Courtesy of John Nolan...this guy is incredible!
At 600 mph, testing an F-35 ejector seat is pretty intense.

Not every celebrity sex tape listed, was released to the public. For good reason, who wants to see John Edwards go at it?

There's a brilliant series of interviews with John Cusack on YouTube about writer Hunter S. Thompson. You really learn a lot about the drunken writer! Really! However, there happens to be one videos about Hunter that's better than almost every other video about Hunter and it's not even about Hunter! The video features Gary "The Teeth" Busey trying to talk about Hunter S. Thompson, but the interviewer isn't getting the directing of ther interview right, so Gary helps him out. And by "helps him out" I mean "act really crazy."
We saw the tribute to director John Hughes last night and felt kind of, well, underwhelmed. The appearance of Molly Ringwald, Macaulay Culkin and Creepy Jud Nelson was nice and all, and the tribute video was pretty sweet, but it doesn't compare to this Animated Gif from Weird Science. Nothing compares to this Animated Gif from Weird Science. This Animated Gif from Weird Science is the ultimate tribute to John Hughes.

You know when you get really drunk and high from huffing spray paint (gold) out of a paper bag (brown) and you and your friends come up with the most AMAZING idea? These are the greatest ideas, right? Right?
What do you think would happen if for some reason you had access to all the elements and ingredients to make your ideas reality... Yeah and your grandparents owned some sweatshops where 12-year-olds slaved away making socks for the British Premier League, so you have a big trust fund. Basically, you have infinite resources. What do you think would happen?
Yeah, besides the first ever monkey, marshmallow go-cart champion being crowned, (Mr. Chattlebanks), because that's awesome.
What would happen?
You would make some pretty awful stuff, stuff that would amaze people on one level and one level only. Yeah, the "why-the-F-did-this-ever-get-made-and-who-thought-that-this-was-a-good-idea-were-they-high-on-gold-spray-paint?" level. You got it!
Oh, you want an example of this kind of idea brought to fruition?
How about this video where an underage white girl runway model, Karlie Kloss, claims to be from St. Luis and then plays ping pong with Notorious Wally Green?
Did that illustrate my point? Did I have a point?
I guess my point is that money is no substitute for talent and true genius, and neither is gold... spray paint.
P.S. JD Ferguson directed the above video. Is he the greatest director of our time?
Disclaimer: I did no research whatsoever into how this video actually came about, and I know nothing about JD Ferguson.
Here is something from 2009 that didn't suck. Enjoy.
This got me to thinking about drugs, steroids, etc. The other day Mark McGwire admitted to juicing, and as this amazing animation illustrates all types of drugs have effected the game of baseball, and sports in general throughout the years.
I think that what needs to happen is that we need to stop trying to stop people from doing drugs, and just have all athletes admit what drugs they are on, have them listed like any other stats.
"Oh, I see here that the pitcher today is left handed and takes lithium and synthetic cat hormones."
How many basketball players smoke weed?
No really, how many? I thought you knew.
The point is that Doc Ellis was able to throw a No No on LSD and speed, but you give that same combination to Randy Johnson, and you might just see a little girl get her head ripped off... I'm not talking about a stray pitch either. I am talking about him walking over to the crowd and ripping a little girls head off because he thinks she is a bag of Doritos and The Big Unit loves Doritos... especially blonde Doritos.
We should just be told what these guys are operating on, so that we can fully appreciate their performances.
Did this make any sense? I'm a little F'd up on whippets right now... Got to get ready for my big ultimate frisbee game.

When I was asked to write for Liquid Generation, my first though was, "Yes!" My second thought was, "What the F am I going to write about that people are going to care about?" I have no idea what is going on in the world, and I'm sure that you, the LG reader, don't want to hear about my mom making hats, my roommate Kate eating all my potato chips, or my inability to feel... anything... in my heart... I am dead inside...
So what did I do?
I did some research. I turned to THE source for mainstream pop culture here in the United States of America, M Magazine. Guess what. I was not disappointed.

Less than 5 pages into the magazine I came across this article about Serena Williams' recent tennis win against Mother Nature (must be Mick Foley's cousin). Apparently, Serena shut Mother Nature out in straight sets, proving not only herself as THE dominant force in women's tennis, but also showing great ethical fortitude, as apparently Mother Nature has been trying to bribe her by sending her a gift every month.

Okay, you got me. It's not an article. It's an ad for Tampax tampons, the most ridiculous ad for tampons I have ever seen, and completely indicative of the kind of slovenly work that is being done in every corner of print media - people all around are doing crappy jobs.
I couldn't find out exactly how much Serena is getting paid to endorse Tampax, but taking into account how much she has been paid for other endorsement deals, it is probably somewhere in the area of $3 million. The photographer who shot this ad probably made at least a couple of grand for a couple hours work. The art director's copy editors, and everyone involved made a good amount of money from putting this ad together, yet they picked the photo that looks like Serena is squeezing out a fart, not celebrating victory.
Maybe it was all Serena's fault. Maybe she never gave them the right look.
All I am saying is that if you paid me $3 million, I would start using tampons, I would make the right face in the photo shoot, and I could probably even take the picture myself... I have a camera with a timer on it.

Now that Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer are officially an item, it's time they talk on the phone.
