Piebald are a group from Boston who have been cranking out crazy catchy pop/punk for a good number of years. While this might not be acoustic, it’s probably the closest they get!
This is a demo of a new PSP game that is based on the paintings of MC Escher. Watch the video and you can imagine how the game would be successful in causing an aneurism.
You’ve probably heard Cary Brothers before and didn’t even know it, as he had a song in some movie called Garden State that apparently changed people’s lives. In any case his new record called Who You Are is more deserving of your dollars than some silly soundtrack!
Stamos appeared on a British morning show, unshaven and apparently SLOSHED, but blamed it on "jet lag," which I'm guessing is the name of a delicious new vodka in England.
This week we were psyched to have Jim Fairchild drop by the studio to play a couple of songs from the new All Smiles record, Ten Readings of a Warning. Enjoy!
Robbers On High Street have been kicking around the New York rock scene for a number of years now, but if you ask us they’re going to be a household name after the release of their latest record, Grand Animals, due out on July 24th. So yeah this is a sneak peek into what the album has in store, and you heard it at Live at LG first!
I like street performers that actually bring something new to the table, to make me appreciate their disadvantaged-ness. Like playing an instrument with your feet.
Hillary rides on the coattails of the Sopranos finale parody-mania by making her version to promote the unveiling of her new campaign song. Watch and cringe!!
Liquid Generation's own Doc Manhattan gets a new Transformer toy, and wastes nearly 40 minutes of his life playing with it! Must see to believe! Er... be bored!
This inspiring crystal meth commercial was made by the good people at Procter & Gamble for their new line of DIY house-cleaning drugs.
Mando Diao have been a favorite here at LG for some time now. We actually had a bunch of people from the office head out to the Troubadour to see them live last month. Needless to say we were all pretty psyched when the band stopped by for a session, and they didn’t disappoint. Here’s the first of three songs they played from their new record Ode to Ochrasy.
NSFW: Judd Apatow's new movie starring George Michael from Arrested Development. I'm wetting myself with anticipation
For those of you in the know, this is a rare acoustic performance from Dinosaur Jr.'s J Mascis playing the new single from the new record Beyond.
Lindsay pole-dances in her new movie, "I Know Who Killed Me." We've got the exclusive, SEXY footage.
This is one of those bands that I knew nothing about before they came in, and thought they would sound much different than they did…probably because of the name. It turns out that ATE happened to be one of my favorite performances in long time. If you are into BritPop and/or the Smiths I think this might be your new favourite band.
Some awesome footage of Jessica Alba's photoshoot for the newest issue of GQ. Apparently they think she's pretty or something.
Limbeck are a band from the Los Angeles area, or to be more specific Orange County. They play a brand of classic California rock the way it used to be done back in the 70s. I have had a chance to see the band live a couple of times and their new self-titled record is one of my favorites of 2007. It’s the kinda music that makes you want to have a BBQ!
These 18-year-olds (they call themselves Peer Pressure) are dancing to a Pretty Ricky song in response to a competition that the R&B group help. Peer Pressure is available for parties, ladies.
Wax On Radio are a collective from Logan Square, an area on the West side of Chicago that is quickly becoming a hotbed for new and emerging indie acts. They were kind enough to swing by our studio while they were on tour and we always welcome bands from the Midwest through our doors. Plus anyone that plays the guitar upside down is pretty awesome in our book!
Bill Murray was wasted at this New Orleans bar, and almost got into a fight – until some dude talked him down, and afterwards he bought everybody drinks! What a guy! AWESOME cellphone video!
