This is one of those bands that I knew nothing about before they came in, and thought they would sound much different than they did…probably because of the name. It turns out that ATE happened to be one of my favorite performances in long time. If you are into BritPop and/or the Smiths I think this might be your new favourite band.
Some awesome footage of Jessica Alba's photoshoot for the newest issue of GQ. Apparently they think she's pretty or something.
Limbeck are a band from the Los Angeles area, or to be more specific Orange County. They play a brand of classic California rock the way it used to be done back in the 70s. I have had a chance to see the band live a couple of times and their new self-titled record is one of my favorites of 2007. It’s the kinda music that makes you want to have a BBQ!
Wax On Radio are a collective from Logan Square, an area on the West side of Chicago that is quickly becoming a hotbed for new and emerging indie acts. They were kind enough to swing by our studio while they were on tour and we always welcome bands from the Midwest through our doors. Plus anyone that plays the guitar upside down is pretty awesome in our book!
Bill Murray was wasted at this New Orleans bar, and almost got into a fight – until some dude talked him down, and afterwards he bought everybody drinks! What a guy! AWESOME cellphone video!
According to frontman Scott Stevens, this song was kinda the catalyst for their new record. Sometimes inspiration comes from the least expected places, but when it works it works. It’s always cool when a band covers a song, but also put their own stamp on it.
This week in the LG Studios we have a band originally from Canton, Oh called Lovedrug. They played three songs for us from their sophomore record called Everything Starts Where IT Ends which will be in stores on March 6th. The band is currently on Militia Group and will be touring a ton for the new record. Go see them, you won’t be disappointed!
Short textAutodrone are a four-piece from New York who usually play with much louder guitars, but were willing to come by our studios and strip it down for us. The result was a much different sound than that found on their debut record, Panic.
Vomiting Kermit dispenses hot chocolate to cold New Yorkers on Conan! Heart-warming!
"Synthetic Coke" was a vial of fake cocaine that was once available in "adult" stores. Here's a commercial for it from New York. Party!
So her people are totally denying that this is a Britney track (obviously the video part is just a montage). Still, I'd love to hear such a bold pooh-on-the-head of mister K-Fed.
Never ever ever ever give the keys to your brand new $50,000 car to your 14-year-old. Never ever ever.
Conan O'Brien is a huge fan of Mac products, and recently promoted Apple's new iPhone on his show!
These dudes donned crappy disguises to see if the Richmond, Virginia DMV would let them get new drivers license photos. And they sure did!
Paris side-swiped some garbage cans at the end of her driveway, giving her brand-new $400,000 Bentley a few scratched and a mean dent. Let's see how the heiress reacts!
The new show "Armed & Famous" features B-list celebrities who apparently want to become police officers. What won't they make into a reality show??
It’s the hottest and sweatiest new game on the market featuring sexy pole dancing! Check it out!
Best of 2006's fake-bleeped TV clips. Too bad they weren't bleeping Vanessa Minnillo's New Years appearance!
