10 Lamest Happy Meals Ever

Kids today have to stop mom from substituting an apple for fries but at least they don't get stuck with these lame toys!

I loved a lot of those toys. I agree, some of the best toys ever.

Is it me, or has LG, jumped the shark?

Um... I loved the changeables when I was a kid. It was like McDonalds and Transformers put together, what kid wouldn't love that?

I remember playing with these toys for HOURS! At least toys in the 80's required some kind of IMAGINATION, which is more than we can say for the crap they give kids now. Uh... the American Idol toy that makes ungodly noise when you move its arm? Now THAT is lame, my friends. THAT is lame.

McNuggets, those boats, Poppoids, and the transforming food are all fond childhood memories. I think I remember the gardening stuff as well. The best though was a couple of times when they had Lego sets as the toys. And do they still do the Jack o'Lantern, witch, and ghost trick or treat buckets at Halloween?

I suppose they are lame if you are an adult. For a child, I just don't see the lameness factor...?

!!? Much love to Liquid Generation, but IMO you guys missed the boat on this one. The nugget-dudes, popoids, cabbage patch kids, and ghetto transformers surely belong on the best-ever list.

This whole list = FAIL. Oh, and Liquid Generation = Superdeluxe.

Those toys are actually 100% cooler than the crap we get now. I remember getting kites, those cool McNuggets guys, toys with tons of moving parts, and things that helped kids be creative. Now you're lucky to get a rubber wrist bracelet or a plastic microphone. I mean, a whole plant growing set with soil?! That rocked! :) Liquid Generation was way off with this one....

I'm not sure why, but I used to LOVE chewing on those toys (Especially the Poppoids. Mmmmmm.).

you guys remember the train? it was like late 70s early 80s and like each happy meal was a different car or something? that thing ruled!

I loved the McNugget people toys. Those were awesome. My favorites were the food that changed into dinosaurs. There was a hamburger to T.Rex, HotCakes to Pterodactyl, Ice Cream cone to some blue baby dinosaur...those were the best.
