Damn, I was so excited when they brought back suck my news. It's the only reason I visit this site. The quality since the revamp has been rather poor though. There is too much focus on trying to re-invent something that was already awesome. So Philip moves around and deviates a bit more from formula now, big deal. Suck My News wasn't great because of laugh tracks or other dumb gimmicks and especially not because of the occasional annoying supporting character. It's success has always hinged on good writing juxtaposed with well chosen funny pictures delivered by a host with an endearing personality. Keep it simple.

This was funny, but the laugh track sucks! At first I thought it was a joke, but it kept going! If you're going to do a laugh track, at least make it convincing.

I echo Sam and Lohanlicious. Laugh track is dumb. This isn't SNL, we're aware it's a cartoon. Having said that, Suck My News is my favorite part of the newsletter. This episode was funny though, keep up the funny. I miss the suck my neeeeeeeeeeeeeeews song in the beginning. If anything I'd say bring that back. It added anticipation and was good to sing with.

I haven't visited this site since the "site revamping" and the retirement of "Suck my News." I happened to look in to see if anything has changed to become funny again and to my surprise Phillip Norris is reporting the news again! However, this really seriously sucks folks. Adding the laugh track is really lame and makes it unwatchable for me. I guess I'll stop in in another 6 months to see if there is any thing else changed here. sigh...

Laugh track = bad idea!!! What are you guys thinking? I know you want to "jazz it up" but this just makes the segment cheesy and not enjoyable.
