David Spade Atones For Past Comedy Sins

Let let me make sense of this for all of you. As you can see from above, David Spade donated 25k to the family of a slain officer. He says he was touched by the story after reading it in the paper...but who buys that? I spend my whole day on the internet and read stories like this. They break my heart...but do you see me throwing my money at charity cases? No! Even if I did have the money I wouldn't. Call me a cruel bastard, but I just wouldn't. I already have charities that I donate too. I can't hand out cash every time a person dies. I'd like to, but I can't. I think most people wouldn't.

So why did David Spade do this? The answer is simple: because he's atoning for past comedy sins. Comedy Central just canceled his Showbiz series. In fact, he hasn't done anything funny years. Let's look at all the comedy sins he's committed these past few years.

The Benchwarmers
Grandma's Boy
Rules of Engagement (TV)
The Legend of Spyro (Voice)
The Emperor's New Groove (Voice)
8 Simple Rules

You notice a pattern here? It's called Suck. Suck is the pattern.

David thinks that by donating money to a dead person's family that God will forgive him for all his comedy sins. I don't think God is that forgiving.

I want my 1994 David Spade back.
