So apparently “black man in prosthetics” counts as a movie
plot now. Check out the trailer for
Eddie Murphy’s new comedy Norbit.
Honestly, is there any way to describe this movie besides “Its
Eddie Murphy playing a bunch of characters in heavy make up”? I really didn’t catch anything else. Remember the golden age of cinema when you
needed to justify putting prosthetics on a black guy? Like he was going undercover as Big Mamma or
a white chick or he was Madea?
