Drunken, Shirtless Hasselhoff Caught On Tape By Daughter

First, there was Alec Baldwin's crazy rant against his daughter.  Now we've got a video tape of David Hasselhoff, shirtless while drunkenly attempting to eat a hamburger, which was taken by his 16-year-old daughter.  To watch it, click on the image below:

It must be hard to raise a normal child when everything you do is scruitinized by the public and your ex-wife has sent rapid lawyers to tear you a new a-hole.  Not that these things excuse their actions, but I don't think that's ultimately the point.  It's sad it see Knight Rider acting like the drunk homeless guy who used to live outside my apartment building.  It's tougher still to hear Jack Donaghy furiously chew out his daughter, when he should be yelling at Lemon.  So, you know, as fascinating as it is to watch these private videos, I really don't want to watch any more.  I understand that celebrities have to trade privacy for fame, but this isn't Lindsay Lohan tripping and barfing on the doorman at Hyde -- these people are suffering deep emotional wounds and need help.  This kind of exploitation isn't gonna help anyone but myself, and the sort of people who chronicle this stuff for a living.

As glad as I am to have fodder for blogs, I'd much rather see David Hasselhoff in Spongebob: The Movie 2 than on TMZ.  Good luck with your recoveries, drunk & angry celebrity dads!  And even if you don't get better, for all our sakes, please don't let anyone record you embarassing yourselves.
