Cam'ron Hates The Police and His Fans

Unlike other rappers, Cam'ron doesn't say "f*** the police," he just ignores them altogether.  Fearing his credibility with fans would be dented if he contacted the police for any important reason -- like if a serial killer was living next door -- Cam'ron tells Anderson Cooper that he will never assist the police for any reason:

I think I understand.  To live up to the gangster image his fans love, Cam'ron can't work with the cops under any circumstances.  They're the enemy.  It would be like He-Man and Skeletor working together.  Fans would hate it if Cam'ron worked with the police.  Good call, Cam'ron.

Hmm... Oh, wait.  What if Cam'ron was backstage at a concert, and he witnesses a fan getting murdered?

An innocent fan.  The murderer gets away, and Cam'ron refuses to help the police by sharing any details of the crime, because that would be assisting the police, which goes against his rap persona.  Wouldn't fans turn on Cam'ron for his strict "code of ethics?"  Unless he put on a cape, became Batman, and hunted down the killer himself, he'd be considered a monster.  Not a hardcore gangster, just a twisted sicko who wouldn't help a dead fan.

My take is that Cam'ron can hate cops without putting innocent people's lives in danger.  And god help me if I've been shot and Cam'ron is the only one there.  As rappers would say, "I'd be boned!"
