Avril Lavigne Shows Her Boobs! She's Topless and Irrelevant!

Blender got Avril Lavigne to take her top off.  Woo hoo.  She's so punk rock!!!!  Here she is "smoking," "drinking," and "being a badass."  Not only is she a punk poseur, but now she's a centerfold poseur as well.  Have a look:

Why is Avril still famous?  Do people really give two s***s about her?  I remember the songs "Complicated" and "Sk8ter Boi" (god help me), but they came out six years ago.  According to Wikipedia, people still buy her albums -- well, you could have fooled me.  I haven't heard an Avril song since "Sk8ter Boi."  I think of her as being at the tail end of the girl pop tart boom with Britney, Christina, Jessica Simpson, etc.  She was the last one, the "punk" one.  As far as I'm concerned, Avril should have stopped making music back in 2001, but she apparently has had two chart topping records to her name since then.

Heh. 

Well, she does have a nice rack.  Maybe that has something to do with it.
