YouTube Does The Police

Earlier this week The Police announced that they'll reunite to open the GRAMMY Awards Show in a couple of weeks.  Rumor has it that they’ll also do a world tour.  I am not a huge fan and don't really get why people go crazy over them, but they do.  I think the main reason I am turned off by The Police is Sting.  There's something about him that just drives me bonkers.  I think it all stems from seeing Dune as a kid.  Here's a dose of The Police and people who like them a lot.

We'll start with one of the few Police songs that's actually really frickin' awesome, "So Lonely."  The video is hilarious as Sting is sporting the Pat Riley hair, they all have walkie-talkies and they are bothering people on trains.  Well worth three minutes of your day!

Ok. I take it back. I love Sting. I think he is the best. Now someone just please make this man-child stop polluting the youth of America with his all around ickyness.  My favorite is when he introduces the song and sounds like he's about to say something but then realizes that he's really not that bright so instead pretends to sing.  I don't know if this is hilarious or infuriating.  I like John Mayer's version much better.

30 Seconds To Mars - Message In A Bottle

I am not quite sure what this is all about, but it's strangely captivating.  At first you wonder if the guitar he's playing is even on, but then after awhile you just want to see what this goof looks like.  So you keep watching until you get to the end.  Find out if it's worth it...

Two girls. A Cat. Lip syncing. Dancing.  Remember when I said the last video was "strangely captivating," well then this one is downright enthralling.  People will put pretty much anything on the internets nowadays.
