Pete Doherty Deathwatch #31

This is a double dose of Pete Doherty news some of which you might have already heard.  Proving once and for all that love truly is blind (as well as deaf, dumb, manic and chemically dependent) the Sun reported last week that Doherty and long time girlfriend Kate moss got "married in a bizarre Buddhist ceremony on holiday in Thailand." And yes, Pete was wearing the ever-present bowler hat. While the marriage isn't legal, either is smoking crack or shooting heroin.

In what seems like an incredibly awesome idea, Seriously? OMG? WTF? tells us that Pete might be set to make his debut acting appearance alongside Kelly Brock in a remake of Carry On Cruising where he'll play the role of "a wannabe rock star who works as a performer on a cruise ship."  Sounds like the Loveboat on methamphetamines to me, and who wouldn't want to see that.

Marriage and Acting = One step closer to the Grim Reaper.
