New White Stripes!

The White Stripes are gearing up to release their new record curiously titled Icky Thump on June 19th. The press frenzy has already begun as their first single will be released tonight at 12:01 AM on iTunes and as a limited edition 7".  Here are all the details on the double single:

If the title track is any indication, Jack White has a new toy and it's called a Farfisa! In related news the White Stripes have also announced an extensive tour through all of Canadia.  I don't know if staying in the land to the North that long is a good thing, but maybe they'll come back with a finely tuned funny bone.  This is all fine and dandy but what I'm really excited about is that Jack White's other band, The Raconteurs, have started work on their new record.  It's going to be a busy year for Mr. White!
