New Music: Explosions In The Sky

Sometimes you just need some long, driving shoe-gazing jams to get you through a Monday. If you feel like you have already destroyed the entire Ride catalog, and just can't listen to Catherine Wheel again for awhile, then you should check out Explosions In The Sky. The long wait for a new "proper" LP from Texas natives is soon coming to an end. Temporary Residence will be releasing All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone early next year. They're streaming a track off the album here. Check it out and stare at them shoelaces real hard while thinking about really deep stuff...or just zone out until it's time to go home. Here's a track from their 2003 record The Earth is Not a Cold Dead Place. Oh, and a classic that I would hope you have heard before.
